This is a story written for one person. Anybody else is more than welcome to read it and I hope you enjoy it - but the person I want to read this knows who she is. I only hope she enjoys reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Kelly was the perfect woman. She had the face of an angel and the mind of a devil. She was the kind of girl who turned heads but didn't know it. She turned one head in particular...mine. I knew OF her long before I ever KNEW her. We talked often and I considered her to be a true friend and an incredible person. She became so much more than that when we met. I remember the first time I saw her like it was yesterday and I'll probably always remember it that way. She blew my mind from early on but I had no idea how much she would blow the rest of me (no pun intended) away when we found time to be alone together.

The night we turned our friendship into something way, way beyond that was the most amazing night of my life. I'd never experienced anything so intense before in my life. We met, we talked, we ate dinner and drank good wine - I didn't want the night to end. Fortunately, it didn't!!

After a couple of drinks too many, we found ourselves both heading for the same hotel room, even though we each had our own bed for the night. I poured a drink for us both and we stood looking out over the view from the hotel window. The city sprawled away into the distance below ...
