The Reunion

I had been working a lot the past couple of weeks, and wasn't really paying attention to the mail I had received, other than the bills that came in and needed to be paid. I had a thriving lawn care / landscaping business, and the wet spring and warm summer had blessed me with more than enough business, to keep me and my 20 employees busy.

I couldn't sleep so I decided to get online and see what was going on in my favorite M4M chat room, or if any of my buddies were online, and interested in getting together for a good time. It was 2am, on a Saturday night and none of my buddies were online, and the M4M room was about as boring as watching grass grow. I was about to sign off, when an instant message popped up, and asked how I was doing. I answered it and said I was bored and boned. I got a LOL as a reply, and sent back a message of, I'm not laughing.

The person on the other end replied and apologized, saying he just hadn't heard anyone use that line for quite a few years. The last time he heard it was about 10 years ago, by a guy who he would have loved to have gotten to know better, but couldn't. We chatted for about half an hour. We never revealed anything about ourselves to one another, but just shot the shit about the weather, and other lame stuff. I made up some excuse about it being so late, and needing to get to bed, and he told me it was nice to chat with me, and hoped we could talk again ...
