Legal Ease 7 by Will Buster

Emily Sutton was absolutely positive that she was the happiest girl in the entire universe. Edmond Chivington the third was an answer to any prayer she'd ever made at any time in her young life. He was so handsome in a quiet sort of way and he'd been an instant favorite of her mother Sarah. This was no small achievement as the Sutton matriarch was normally pretty unresponsive and cool with that typical New England reserve that was known to distrust strangers. Strangers could be members of one's own town let alone somebody from as far away as distant Boston.

However, Edmond's quiet manner and excellent etiquette had broken the ice and after just a few days in Lancaster, Sarah Sutton felt like she'd known the young man for years. William Sutton, Emily's father was certainly cordial to the new family member, although he was still a bit reserved being the careful businessman that he was.

The service took place at the historic Bull Finch church, a lovely brick structure with a stable for the horses at the rear of the sanctuary. Many friends showed up to congratulate Emily and pay their respects to the tall, elegantly dressed husband.
