Jeff was having one hell of a day. He was a man with a lot of problems. His first and most impending problem was that he was about to lose his job. It was almost a certainty. Jeff worked for a company that sold erotic stories online. It was a dream job for him however he was crap at it. In the five years he had been there he had never written a single story that was deemed worthy to be sold online. No one could work out why he had been kept on, most thought it was simply pity. About a month ago the company had been taken over and it was decided that they should down grade there offices. A hundred workers had to go. Jeff was the first. As almost a sick joke they had told him that if he did finally write a story good enough to sell online and it sold more than a thousand copies, which was a company record, he could stay on. Jeff was completely aware that at least half the workers in the office believed this very funny and he had overheard several people joking about how pathetic his stories were.

Jeff's second problem was that he was about to be evicted from his flat. As he was rubbish at his job Jeff was paid irregularly and since the takeover they had refused to pay him at all unless he published a story online. Obviously he hadn't so was behind on his rent. The landlord had had enough. This was a huge problem for Jeff as he obviously could be looking for a new flat and a new job very soon.
