Hal's Stroll on the Wild [ bi] Side - Part One

Hal is "speaking" this evening. Kath has been bugging me to write about something that happened to us a year or so back that was an entirely new experience for me. Given that she is a far better writer than I am, she will do some editorial tinkering to insure that what I say is literate. So, here goes.

As is often this case with our far-out play, this occurred away from home, in the San Diego area. Kath was called upon to make a presentation at a conference of High Tech analysts, so it was my turn to be the "tag along spouse," which was a nice turn-about.

As we always do when traveling, we "shake the tree" on adult meeting sites to see what might fall out. The high incidence of sexual freedom in Southern California continues to surprise us, despite a variety of experiences out there over the years. Such was the case in this instance. Between the two of us, we narrowed our list of prospects down to three couples before leaving home. One couple sounded particularly promising; they even gave us a home phone number so that we could talk directly with both of them. (We are wary of giving our number to people before we meet them in person.)
