My name is Kristine and I work for a large software company. I am happily married and have the normal "American Family" a husband and a couple of kids. Both of our children are grown and living on their own and after 25 years of marriage my husband and I are still best friends.

My husband Kevin and I were talking one evening and he asked me if I wanted to go camping for a few days like we used to do when we were younger. I told him that it might be fun but that I really didn't want to sleep on the hard ground. He laughed and told me we would get some air mattresses to make the sleeping more comfortable.

The next week Kevin told me to plan on taking a couple of days off the following week because we were going to spend a few days in the woods. I had plenty of vacation time and wasn't going out of town on assignments so we made plans for the trip.

The weather was going to be perfect with cool nights and mild days and we were both looking forward to the trip. We planned on leaving Wednesday and after a few hours drive would spend the rest of the week and the week end relaxing, hiking, and spending some time together. As with all plans, we had to make some changes due to unforeseen circumstances, specifically the arrival of a friend of ours on Tuesday.
