She was home! Her legs were still shaking and she was just glad she didn't have to hide it anymore. She turned off her car, grabbed her purse, and got out. She locked the car, and walked up her front porch. She unlocked her door, and stepped inside. Groaning, she dropped her purse and keys on the end table. She slipped off her shoes, grateful she had decided to get the softest pad under the carpet. Her hand went to her neck, and she undid her tie. She slid it off, and hung it on her coat rack. She undid the top two buttons on her shirt and walked to her steps going upstairs, started up, then changed her mind and sat down. She hung her head in hands, and just sat there. She was exhausted, she had worked hard all day, but her mind and body were buzzing. A million thoughts were racing through her mind. Before she had a chance to sort through them, though, there was a knock at her door. She frowned but stood up. She was still in her work clothes! Who the hell could that be? There wasn't a peephole in her door, so she carefully opened it, peering around. Nick was standing there, with a huge smile on his face.

"You didn't wait around long enough after work for me to just follow. You left me to fend for myself." She stood there, dumbfounded.
