The bridal shower was in full swing. Ruth Dey was the main attraction. Around her, in a semi-circle, were her many friends bearing gifts. Susan Williams was the host. She stood in front of Ruth & held up her hands.

"Ok everybody, let me have your attention. Next Saturday, our Ruth dey will no longer be a single woman. She is being taken out of circulation, thanks to John Tyler. After next Saturday, you'll have to address Ruth as Mrs. Or Ms. Tyler. Neither term seems appropriate for our Ruth Dey. But, today she will have her day. Inside each wrapped box is a gift of some type. Around each gift is a colored ribbon.

" Susan was now sitting beside Ruth. "I've asked each person to estimate how big johns' organ will be when he finally gets down to business. The size of the ribbon on the gift is our estimation."

Ruth's face was turning red & her friends were laughing, with & not at her. The 1st gift she opened, the ribbon tied to it was about an inch long. Ruth help it up. A few of her friends clapped approval while others playfully booed. The next 2 were about the same. Opening another gift, Ruth saw the ribbon was quite large. She held it up & everyone whistled, clapped, & cheered. It was several minutes. Before everyone calmed down. The remaining gifts were opened with mock approval or ...
