It is so strange how things work out. It only seems a few years ago that I was hearing my mother scream at my elder sister Kathy, telling her in no uncertain terms that if she went ahead and took the job as an exotic dancer, she had no need to come back to this house again.

Mom was a single parent. My dad had walked out on us years ago when we girls were still small and she had struggled to bring us up on her own. She had worked at two jobs a day to get us through college. She wanted us to have a good start in life by getting a good education, but Kathy was a rebel. She had given up dancing and now helped her husband to run their own bar and strip club.
