"Shit, shit, SHIT!" Why did I have to speed? And run a red light too?? It was too late now. De squad car had already switched on its lights and the sign that read "STOP POLICE" was blinking at me, almost devilish. I started to slow down and stopped my car at the edge of the road. Thankfully, I was wearing my seatbelt and I even remembered to bring my driver's license and papers with me.

There was a knock on my window and I was reluctant to bring it down, but I felt I didn't have a choice. From outside a female officer asked for my license and registration. "Do you know why we stopped you?" she asked with a somewhat familiar sounding voice. "Yeah, yeah, I know I was speeding..." I responded with a voice that showed her how I felt. "Why did you drive so fast, mr. CS?" she asked and again I heard something familiar in her voice.

I decided to give up and turned to face the officer next to my car. I started to explain that I really didn't have any reason to speed and that I really wasn't driving that fast... When I turned around and looked at her, my heart skipped a beat. I knew she'd had a familiar voice! It was her! "Oh hi, it's you!" I blurted out, probably way too enthusiastic.

"I guess you didn't notice before, huh?" she asked with a gorgeous smile that I remembered all too well. "Uhm, no not really. But is that so strange? It's not exactly a pleasure to be stopped by the police... ...
