Daisy had been sitting at one of the tables outside of the cafeteria scribbling in her notebook with the noonday sun beating at her back when out of nowhere a brown paper bag dropped down on the open book next to her. Her eyes hit it for little more than a second before rolling up in search of the owner of this annoying parcel. What she found was Simon coming down into a seat on the bench across the table from her.

"What's this suppose to be?" Daisy said to him monotonously.

"Peace offering," Simon replied. He sat there quietly for the short duration of time that it took for Daisy to give the bag another quick examination. "Under the guise that you haven't already eaten lunch yet."

"Peace offering?" Daisy said, giving the bag a poke with the end of her pen. She tipped it a little to inspect the bottom portion for any signs of leakage.

"More specifically, pastrami and cheese on rye. Have you had lunch yet?" Daisy just stared at him in silence. "Because if you haven't I was kind of hoping that you wouldn't mind enjoying this small culinary masterpiece back in my dorm room."

Daisy gave the bag another look. Then Simon. Not wanting to grant him ...
