Alyse closed the front door behind her as she stepped back out into the gently warming sunlight. Making her way back through the small thicket that surrounded the home, she eventually found her way back to the path that she had veered off of. Holding her Wunderlend jacket slung over her right shoulder, Alyse continued on her way after the elusive object of her affections.

Her stroll along the foot worn path began to draw a soft hum from her lips until the trail split and lead off into the thinly wooded area in six different directions, bringing a cease to both her walking and her humming. Alyse alternated her glances between each crooked path. "I wonder which way he went," she said softly to herself.

Once again the sound of soft humming began to resonate through the crisp air floating over the vegetation but this time the sound wasn't coming from Alyse. Turning her head toward her left shoulder, Alyse saw a young man lying on his back on top of a blanket in a small meadow filled with pink petal covered flowers. He'd plucked the stem of one of the flowers and was holding the perfumed bud against his nose as the lullaby hummed from his lips.

Alyse stepped off of the path and began moving in his direction. "Something I can help you with?" he said without looking in her direction.
