Michigan weather, if you don't like it wait five minutes. It was supposed to be a beautiful day, the kind God created beaches for. Waking up that morning, Mike and Tina were looking forward to a day spent lounging on the beach, swimming, and tanning. Christ almighty, Mike thought, why is she even bothering to wake me yet? He knew well that if they planned to get out of the house at 10:00 they would walk out the door at 12:00. They had been living together for only a year, but in that time he had every single one of her intricacies pegged. As he crawled out of bed, he knew she would be sitting at the table eating a bowl of raisin bran.

He walked into the bathroom, flipping the lid of the toilet up. Leaning against the wall, he relieved himself and called out to Tina. "Are we still going, how's it look outside?"
