Maggie's Farm Part Four

Maggie woke a while later with Brandie still sleeping soundly. Maggie gave Brandie a very tender hug before she slipped out from under Brandie who stirred for a second then she fell back to sleep. Maggie got up and stroked the fire getting it going again. Then she put on some clothes so that she could check on her cattle and dogs before carrying in more firewood. Brandie didn't stir a bit as she moved around her. Maggie let her sleep as she went to the kitchen to mix up some stew into a big black kettle. She then carried it into the fireplace hanging the pot on a rod that stuck out from of side of the brick fireplace. She put another log on the fire getting the fire going a little hotter to cook up the stew. She was squatting in front of the fire when she felt two hand on her shoulders pulling her back onto the bed.

"I think you got way too many clothes on." Brandie said smiling as she unhooked the straps on Maggie's overalls.

"Oh I do, do I?" Maggie asked as she reached up pulling Brandie's head down so that she could kiss her. ...
