Two Widows - Ch. 3

I've received too many complaints to ignore about the way I post my stories so I went ahead and posted this chapter right away and chapter 4 will be posted this week.

Chapter 3

Sheila came over to help me move the personal items from Sharon's old room at Sharon's suggestion, since it was nearly as large as my room. When we were finished, it was a very attractive room and one I was sure Diane would be happy in.

When she showed up the next day with her back seat full of clothing, overnight bags and small cartons, her trunk full of suit bags and luggage, I went out and helped her carry things up to her room. It took several trips, but the minute she stepped into the room, I could tell she liked it.

"This is absolutely beautiful, Beverly. It's just as I thought it would be. I love those closets. It's a woman's dream."

Sharon joined us for dinner, and we chatted as we ate dinner and shared a glass of Chardonnay, but after Sharon left, we retired to our rooms so that she could get unpacked and I could finish the very steamy novel ...
