Prequel to 'Coffee, please' and 'Coffee, later'. How Vivian and Paolo met. It deliberately leaves off at a point that feels unfinished, but only because the next part is its own chapter. Feedback via ES/email and votes always appreciated.

She cut a few inches off, thinking that would help restore it. Well, what did she think was happening? Stress manifests itself in many ways to get one's attention.
