Dr. Elizabeth Denton had been Gerald's doctor for about a year and a half, they got on very well too. She found Gerry's shy demeanor so refreshing, although she knew that he had a crush on her. He was always polite and enjoyed flirting with her in very subtle ways. Liz on her part encouraged him by doing her share of the flirting back, it was the only way to get him to carry on.
