Two weeks later, Tommy and Melanie are thrilled to find out that they are having another baby. Tommy knew full well when the baby was conceived, but Melanie did not want to dwell on it and refused to discuss it again.

Megan's weddng to Ray was in just a few weeks and she had come over to visit Melanie who experiencing horrible morning sickness. She had just finished throwing up and was brushing her teeth when Megan showed up.

Melanie came out when she was done brushing her teeth. "Horrible. I keep drinking this vile ginger tea that Tommy's mother recommended but all it does is keep me from feeling nauseous. I just throw up without warning. I don't understand...I was not this naseous with Jessica."

"Every pregnancy is different. Oh and by the way, I stopped by her bedroom and Mrs. Jamieson was teaching her how to write her name. She is only 2 and a half!"

Melanie smiled briefly. "Well. she thinks Jessica is gifted. I of course agree but that is only because she is my little girl."

Megan smiled too. "Yeah, we all think that about our kids but Mrs. Jamieson might be right." ...
