Kyle left his ex-girlfriend's mother's house early the next morning and drove to a small lake he used to go to sit and think. He'd sit on the bank and toss small pebbles into the water while his mind traveled at a mile a minute trying to remember what started the fight, and how he could make things right.

This time his thoughts weren't on Julie, it was on her mother Cindy.

After Julie broke up with him and moved to California to try her hand at a modeling career he went to her house to pick up several boxes of small items she told him she no longer wanted. He'd given her many small gifts over the past several years, and now she no longer wanted them or the memories.

He was hurting badly over the break up and he wished he had someone to talk to. When he got to her house Cindy sat with him to talk about her ideas on what happened, and they started to get closer. He didn't know how it happened, or why, but they ended up making love.

A small part of him told him that it was wrong, but a bigger part of told him nothing could have been more right. He enjoyed her and he wanted to see her again, to make love to her again.
