The Anniversary Present, by Lady Grey

It was our tenth wedding anniversary and Sam, my lovely partner, had told me that she had planned a surprise for me that evening. I tried to persuade her to tell me what it was, but she said I had to wait. I made sure I was home early, and when I arrived, I found that Sam had just come out of the bath. She was wrapped in her white toweling bathrobe looking all pink and freshly scrubbed.

I held her in my arms and we kissed. I could feel the warmth of her body through the robe and realised that she was probably naked under it, but when I tried to confirm my suspicions, she pushed my hands away.

"You will have to wait," she said. "Go and get yourself cleaned up. We need to be away by seven o'clock."

I went up and took a shower, and by the time I had finished, Sam unfortunately was dressed and just touching up her make up. She had on a new two piece that I had not seen before; the skirt was short, just above the knee, and the jacket well fitted and buttoned up the front. She looked wonderful as usual.

She had organized a limo for us and it arrived dead on time. She spoke to the driver and he nodded. He held the door for us to get in and told us to help ourselves to the drinks. We sat back in the comfortable ...
