Okay, it's not something I'm proud of. But yeah, I'd been watching Jane for a few months. It started the day after my 19th birthday. For most of my life I've been a pretty straight-laced guy. Good grades in school, lots of friends. Pretty focused on the school basketball team and never had a girlfriend. Lot of friends who were girls. But just, you know, never had a girlfriend or even a one-night stand.

Huh, pretty embarrassing to admit I was a nineteen-year-old virgin. But there it was. Not that I didn't like girls ... I mean I LIKE the ladies. Just always seemed like there was too much going on.

Well, my 19th birthday was, of course, a bit of a drink fest. I was determined to hook up that night, but it didn't really work out that way. Good night anyway, I got dropped off at home, drank a bunch of water and staggered up to my room. I made sure to take the next day off work. Well, being off my usual schedule that day really paid off when I got a glimpse of the new neighbour.

When the old lady that used to live next door passed away, a young couple moved in. I really didn't take much notice at first, he was a cop, she was a designer or something like that. Nice people. Anyway, on that morning, as I was trying to deal with my first-ever hangover, I opened the window beside by bed. It overlooked our shared driveways. And I hadn't noticed before, that it looked directly into the neighbour's upstairs bathroom. I hadn't noticed until I saw Jane ...
