Getting What You Want.

Like most men who had never suffered the humiliation of being dumped for another guy, I guess there had been times where I wondered what I would do if certain situations arose.

As crazy as it sounded, by the age of 25, I'd never been dumped. Sure, two girls left me to go to university and I had dumped plenty of girlfriends, but....I'd never been dumped.

Sitting in the living room after Debbie had collected her clothes and left, I guess I should have felt angry or at least disappointed, as strange as it seems, the only emotion that I felt was relief.
