When Saturday arrived, we (Kim, her daughter and I) piled into Kim's small car and drove the 60 miles or so to her mother's home. It was a ranch home sitting on a couple acres on the outskirts of Waukesha, surrounded by manicured lawns with half the property consisting of woods on either side and behind it.
