In these tough times it is very important to have a good job and even more important to do whatever you can to keep it. Sometimes it can become more important than anything. Dan has worked for the corporation for over twenty years and has done all that he could to move up the corporate ladder until finally getting a promotion which included a significant increase in pay as well as his own office. Now his company is talking about sweeping changes and massive layoffs. His wife Jill, a forty eight year old school teacher, took a back seat as he worked long hours and gave her little attention for the past couple of years. His lack of affection toward her was about to take it's toll!

"Sorry Sir, it will be ready shortly" Dan said into the phone as he frantically looked for something under pile of papers on his desk.

"It had better be! I'll be in your office in about half an hour to pick them up. If it isn't ready in time for my meeting yours won't be the only head on the chopping block." Came the stern reply from his boss.

"Yes Sir."
