Having amicably separated from the guy I was engaged to, due to, among other things, pressure of work, and me not wanting kids so early - I was only 24-years old, so plenty of time for that later I thought - he moved out of our cosy 3-bed flat leaving me to keep up the mortgage re-payments; subsequently, I had to take a second, evening, job working in a bistro which afforded me little time for any new relationship, and I'd since grown weary of the usual one night dates.
