The six sat in a football-shaped circle staring at each other anxiously, knowing what the night's future events might bring.

"It'll be guys against girls," Jerry smirked, his emerald green eyes glinting in the overhead lights. The whites of his pupils shone brilliantly, blinking shut only once when he reached up to run his strong fingers through his slightly curled chestnut locks.

"What's the object of the ‘game'?" Tracy questioned.

"Each team takes turns daring one another. If you choose not to attempt a dare or fail to complete it, you get an X," stated Danny, matter of factly.

"What kinds of dares?" Alison questioned, nervously.

"We'll start out simply," smiled Jerry, soothingly, "And we'll progress from there."

The first few dares were a menagerie of simple questions to be answered, and silly activities to be performed. The combination of the group's energy and alcohol consumption, however, lead them to a pivotal point, all of the participants aware that the events of the night were about to escalate to a new level.
