Another True Story! This encounter took place about 3 days after the events of "Summer Fun." Once again, some details have been slightly changed to "tidy up" the story. The gorgeous day I had spent at the beach with Laura proved to be summer's last gasp. With the long-range forecast consisting of mid-60s to low-70s, it looked like I wasn't going to be getting back to the beach. In any case, I ended up chatting with Laura again online, and we agreed to meet up during the weekk for lunch, since I had a couple days off work. After a bit of mutual teasing about how we each had ended our day after the beach (she had apparently found a "victim" for the evening, and my wife and I had made a good go of it), we agreed to meet Wednesday to check out a little place just down the street from her house.

Wednesday came cool and windy, and I picked her up around 11:30. Lunch was good, and the conversatioon picked up practically where we had left off.
