Chip's girlfriend Nikki still had the rental house next door but she had three new roommates for the year. Katie, Kelli and Mary Beth moved in with her!!! Vic, Chip and I were really excited to have our chick buddies next door. They spent most of the time the previous year over at our house anyhow. Those girls were damn good friends and we were very protective of them.

For UGA's opening football game the Oklahoma State Cowboys were coming to Athens for the first time ever to play the Dawgs. We were all excited because Oklahoma State was an up and coming football team and an excellent test for the Dawgs opening game. Athens was jam packed as usual. We were hosting our first "tailgate party" of the 2007 season in the backyard of our rental house. Chip had three grills going cooking hamburgers and brats and he'd been up most of the night smoking barbecue baby back ribs. The girls had made food. We had all kinds of other food to snack on including our usual boiled peanuts and marijuana brownies!!! But no vodka Jello this time!!!

The game wasn't until late afternoon and we got the party started by mid-morning. It didn't take long for things to be "crunk!"
