"PING" the elevator sounded at the seventh floor. With a sigh Gary got out - this was his first day back from leave, and he was already running late. The company he worked for was smallish but quite successful, specializing in engineering jobs the big boys didn't want. Gary was the design engineer and the main source of jobs, which was just was well, because the guy he worked for could be a real asshole; luckily Brad didn't try his shit with his star employee. Opening the glass doors he entered GLC Engineering - ten or so offices and a smallish boardroom. Immediately he was greeted by a lovely girl in her mid-twenties.

"Gary! Welcome back!" she exclaimed and flashed him a warm smile. It was Tess, Brad's personal assistant. She was a petite girl with shoulder-length blonde hair and a cute, friendly face. "We all missed you so much - Brad made our lives a living hell while you were gone"

"So that's the only reason you missed me - to pacify Brad?" he teased.

"Don't be like that - you know we all love your company. And it sure is nice having a good-looking man around!" she said in a flirty way.
