With my husband away on one of his business trips, I allowed my son Eric and his friend Scott to otherwise get away with consuming some lager, and in Scott's case, quite a lot, that he was, for my mind, incapable of returning home in his car, and so I put him in the spare bedroom of our four bedroom home.

With Eric already having left for work, I, having got dressed myself in order to get some shopping, now see about Scott.

"Come on, Scott, wake up, I've got groceries to get, and you need to wash and get home," I said, trying to rouse him. Although being 19, according to my son he elected to go to high school to further his education.

"Wake up, Scott," I again said, louder, while, and having grabbed him by the arm, I gave him a gentle shake, which seemed to do it, as he then turned over and onto his back, though still with his eyes closed.
