I was expecting a slow day at the office in the morning, so after I dropped off my wife at her workplace, I decided to drop off certain things at my in-laws' place, which my wife had put in the car for this purpose a week back. I checked the time and it was exactly 9am. ‘Everyone should be up by now', I thought to myself, and headed for their house.

I got there in about thirty minutes. Only my mother in law's car was parked in the driveway which meant everyone else had left for their work, college and school respectively.
