Cole and Shelly had found it hard to plan getting together as the baby took a great deal of her time. Cole had figured this would happen but kept it to himself as he knew she didn't need any pressure from him about it. He would tease her at work when he could and enjoy the short times they got to see each other which was usually only at lunch.

Shelly found herself longing for Cole's touch as well and would become frustrated at times as they never seemed able to get a chance to be together. She had made a comment to him when she was close to having her baby that he wouldn't have anything to rub on once she gave birth and he assured her he would find other things to rub on and he didn't disappoint her.
