Evolution

In the Beginning - a little background

Daddy calls me Amy Jo, but everyone else calls me AJ. I was raised in a small college town where my father was a policeman and worked part time as security at the local drive-in teen hangout. He knew everyone and everyone knew him. It only took one tap on a fogged up window in the local lover's lane, a flashlight beam in the eye of a date, and a "Hi Daddy" from me, to become "off limits" to all the local boys. I had loving but very strict parents who were members of a Church whose doctrine even frowned on dancing. Daddy believed that it was his responsibility to intimidate any boy who had the courage to ask me out. Not many did . . . it made for a lot of lonely weekends. The dates that I did get were for school or church functions, so they were mostly as part of a group . . . and were pretty "vanilla".

By the time I had begun my senior year of high school I had "blossomed" and began to catch the eye of college guys. It was a dangerous time because I was a "woman-child" . . . the experience of a child with the body of a woman! I had been coming straight home after school to sit on my steps in front of the house. I was thrilled that I had met a met a college guy who seemed interested in me! Our house was between the college and the new student parking lot so he had been walking by the house every day since the semester had begun. The first day I saw him ...
