Raven Spreads Her Wings

Looking at her now, you would never believe that Raven Leonore McQueen grew up on a farm where she gardened, milked goats, and harvested chicken eggs. Her parents were hippies born a couple decades too late and fancied themselves people of the earth. They did manage to eke out a living selling organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs (including cannabis) along with freshly laid eggs. Her mother sold homemade soaps and cheese made from goat's milk. Her parents were free spirits who thought they were clever when in their cannabis induced fugue they used Edgar Allen Poe's poem The Raven as inspiration for her name.

She came from black Irish stock and as her name suggested, she had very dark, almost bluish black hair, which contrasted with her ivory complexion. While she was growing up, people often commented that her name should have been Angela because she so closely resembled a cherub with her chubby cheeks, curly dark hair and bright blue eyes.

As she got older, she didn't lose her baby fat, it just sort of migrated to all the right places. By the time she was 18, she had a full hourglass figure reminiscent of stars like Raquel Welch, Sophia Loren and Jayne Mansfield.
