A few months ago, my sister and her husband purchased a brand-new house out in Pennsylvania, literally in the middle of the woods. They had decided to move out there to get away from everyone in the big city. My husband and I had gone out to visit them a few times and I found the area to be beautiful. The closest neighbor was about 100 yards from them, and I loved that kind of privacy. They moved out there in the beginning of January and never had a chance to throw a housewarming party due to the cold weather. She had decided that when the summer months arrived, she would throw a big party and invite everyone over. Time went by, and once June came around, she sent out invitations to everyone to attend her housewarming party. I was excited and couldn't wait to get together with everyone. I always enjoyed our parties because everyone would have a great time and we would all catch up with one another.

The morning of the party, my husband and I drove out to their house. They were a good hour and a half from us and we decided that we would spend the night there so that we could drink and not have to worry about driving. We decided to go early so that we could help her set up for the party. We arrived at her house around 10 o'clock in the morning and my sister was already in the garage, setting up tables. Her husband had gone out to buy the alcohol for everyone to enjoy. I began helping her set up the tables and chairs, while my husband prepared the coolers.
