Sometimes, sex just sneaks up on you and overpowers you. That's what happened to me.

It was about ten o'clock at night, two years ago, and my wife was out at the roller derby with her close friend, Cynthia. I was putting the kids down to sleep. Now, I am not really a "shared parenthood" kind of father. For the most part, I'm at my office all day, and sometimes at night, and sometimes even on the weekends. I am an attorney specializing in construction and land use law, and when projects are moving, I get lots of work. She waited. When I got back on the line Cynthia was still there, and told me what had happened. My wife Jane had had a few beers at the roller derby and had probably been a bit impaired, because she sideswiped a car on the way out of the parking lot, and there was a big hurrah with the guy driving the other car.
