The Ice Cream Man Part 2: Special Delivery

It's now 2001 and I, Travis O'Neill, have to say my move from South Dakota to San Diego, California was the very best thing to happen in my life!! Since arriving here I've had more and more acting opportunities from "Shakespeare in the Park" to a dairy commercial (hey, it helps pay the bills) to being cast as an alien on the TV show, "Star Trek: Voyager", which I'm a fan of. In addition to that small measure of success, I also have moved from my apartment to a house in the 'burbs. For someone that's not yet 21, that's a fair accomplishment. If I were still back in South Dakota, I'd more than likely be living with my cousin, Toby in a beat-up, old trailer and milking cows for a living. Toby is a good guy at heart but he smokes like a freight train, drinks like a fish and his idea of entertainment is shooting rats at the local junkyard with .22 rifles or watching a Hee Haw marathon on TNN. If I had to live that kind of life you may as well just pass me the rusty razorblades now so I can cut my wrists.

Thankfully, though, I can empathize with Jimmy Stewart and say now, it's a wonderful life! Aside from my acting I also am an ice cream man, part time and along with the money I make, the job entitles me to fringe benefits I wouldn't have with many other occupations.
