My husband and I recently decided to take a few days off and head to the shore in order to get away from the stress of daily life. We both could use a couple days to ourselves and decided the cheapest getaway would be down the shore, which was only about two hours from our house. A little time away probably wouldn't hurt our marriage as well because things lately had been on the rocks. We booked a hotel room right on the beach and finalized our plans. The date of our trip, we packed the car and after dropping our son off at grandmas house, we were on our way. Thankfully we didn't catch much traffic and arrived at the hotel a little over two hours later. After checking in, we headed up to our room where we got into our swimsuits and headed out to the pool. We ended up spending the rest of the day lounging by the pool as well as getting some sun, before heading back to our room and calling it a night.

The next morning, we headed out to breakfast. We settled on a local eatery and enjoyed our breakfast before heading back to the hotel. Once we were back in our room, we once again got into our bathing suits and headed out to the pool to relax. After a couple hours of me working on my tan and my husband spending all his time playing on his phone, we heard a few people heading our way. We looked up to see a group of about 15 or so people settling down on the chairs beside us. We looked over and a couple of them said hello and we did as well. After they settled themselves in, a few of them jumped in the pool while a few of the others hung out and pulled a couple of beers out of the cooler that ...
