Back at the beginning of this year, I was laid off from my job due to budget cuts. I looked around to see if I could find something new but unfortunately I had a tough time and kept striking out. It wasn't very easy because things were a bit slow at my husband's job as well and we had just had a baby and really needed an extra income. I began thinking that I would have to look in another field and just take whatever I could find. The problem was that it was the middle of winter at the time and there really weren't many options available in our area. I kept my fingers crossed and continued looking. We sat down and my husband began telling me that while visiting his friend Mike and his wife, he told them about our situation and Mike offered to help. I immediately wasn't very excited about it because of who was offering the job. You see, Mike and I along with my husband, go back a long time to when we were still in high school. My husband and Mike went to school together and graduated at the same time. I began high school as they were graduating but got to know them through my husband's sister.
