Mary part 1: University lecturer.

I'm not sure how I got talked into it: I am a business woman and a friend asked me to give a lecture at the local university on Customer Service. Eventually this ended up as a permanent job lecturing and tutoring the students one day a week, and I scaled down my normal job to 4 days a week. To be honest I enjoyed doing something different and teaching young students!

I lectured in the morning and tutored a small group in the afternoon. This term my tutor group was 9 students of all different backgrounds including one who was older, about 25, who had done some work and then buckled down to get the grades to go to university - good for him. Mike was young, fit, confident and ruggedly good looking. I liked watching him in the group, and hopefully he didn't notice.

One day Mike stayed behind to make sure he understood the lesson. We finished and I said goodbye as I was now going home for a drink. "Let me guess, a chilled dry white wine?" "Sometimes, but today's been tough, so it will be a gin and tonic." "Enjoy; I'm off for a beer." ...
