The weekends at St Trinians are almost, almost, much like that of other schools, what with the teaching staff, even Dean Johnson, heading home for a well earned break from the girls and studies.

Although, in truth, those seniors who remain at the school at the weekend are of an adult age, what with some of the others, including Bridgett, being younger, a house master and cook remain; one to supervise and the other to prepare the four hot meals.

It was one particular afternoon, after lunch in fact, that four of the seniors: Nikita, Amanda, Kaye and Samantha, were playing pool on the library snooker table. Since there were only conventional snooker balls, the girls racked up six of the red ones and the six coloured balls, all in all making it a shorter game and one that they played in pairs.

Tagging along with them was Bridgett. A sharp eyed young blonde of 16 years. Normally, she would be home for the weekend; however, her parents had decided to take their annual holiday without the cantankerous teenager. Although she felt miffed about it, things were about to get exciting, and not just for her.
