My husband has run his own landscape company for the last 12 to 15 years and over the last several years, it's finally started to take off. It took a lot of work but he finally getting it to where he wants it. Of course with growth of the company, comes more responsibilities. One of them was hiring more employees to work for him. A couple of years ago, he interviewed several guys and ended up hiring three local guys who had just finished up with college and were looking for work. They ended up being very good employees and decided to stick around. They've worked for my husband for a couple of years now and are very good at what they're doing. My husband is very happy with them and their work and make sure to take good care of them. During the course of that time, I got to know them as well since they were always around the house because my husband stores everything in our garage. I was always the good wife who would come out with cold drinks and sandwiches for them after a long days work. They were always nice and polite with me and from time and I enjoyed their company.

This past June, my school year ended and I would be off for the summer as usual. I liked the time off, but at the same time I did like that I wasn't earning any money. One day while talking to my husband about it, she told me that if I wanted to, I could tag along and help out a bit because they were pretty busy and he would pay me for it.
