His Destiny 6

The flight from Denver to Rome involved one connection and 12 hours in the air. Destiny had been in the air all night when she arrived at 8 AM local time. Despite a first class/business ticket, she was dead on her feet. As she made her way from the gate there was a tall decent looking man in a black suit and tie with her name on a piece of cardboard. She wearily introduced herself.

"You're every bit as beautiful as Mr. Willis said you were," he said in accented English. "I'm Paolo."

"Thanks," she said with a smile. She felt anything but beautiful with a mop of hair, gray sweats and a black CU t-shirt and windbreaker.

"You luggage will be delivered by another employee so I can take you straight to the hotel. Will that be all right?"

Destiny nodded and walked off with her escort.

The drive through Rome took about 40 minutes. It was a limo and had wine, water, and meats and cheeses for her but she wasn't hungry. She stayed awake to look at the coliseum and other sites as they drove. She could hardly believe she was here.
