The Meeting.

Well there I was, as nervous as a virgin schoolboy & running behind on myself appointed schedule. I pulled into the car park on the northern edge of the boat harbour and looked at my watch, 1045hrs already; I hoped she was running late as well. I parked the trike and debussed as quickly as I could and headed for the rendezvous as quick as I could.

As I crossed the footbridge from the boat launch to the Breakwater Tavern, the RV, I noticed a long haired redhead about 30 meters ahead of me. I thought to myself 'could this be her? Could this be my mystery date?' she was a fairly tidy package, somewhat smaller in stature than the pictures I'd seen and was dressed in a sporty, fashionable tracksuit, but then pictures are always a reflection of reality anyway.

It was a bit of a downhill run and I'd just about caught up to her, she half turned and looked at me, smiled and kept going. I veered left to use the ramp and she went up the three steps but I was still just behind her when I reached the top.

She glanced back again and I thought to myself I thought 'self this could be her'. Sure enough she turned into the entrance to the tavern and I was just behind her. She reached the door and pushed to enter but it didn't budge. The tavern was still closed and it was 1100 am...I ...
