Her Continuing Validation

The following Monday our reporting for work was a normal event. We hadn't talked over the weekend, I had golfed twice, and I didn't inquire about her time, where or who with. Later, Sandra was blunter and asked if I was seeing you now that Hal was history. Again I smiled and winked. That's it so far. I kept them on their toes but didn't verify any questions."
