POWER OUTAGE - II

Mixed emotions swirled around the room as the power returned and the TV's came back on. The excitement of a tied Hockey playoff game or the Porn channel, would again become our primary entertainment choices. The problem was that I couldn't see them garnering the same excitement my wife Samantha produced just minutes before.

My mind swirled on a method to rejuvenate some excitement. When a tie breaking goal ignited the crowd at the rink, it drew our attention back to the game. Sam, who maintained her sullen mood, grabbed a beer and seemed to have shifted her attention to the porn rather than the game. ...
