Todd Arrived Home on a Rainy Afternoon

Monday through Thursday the first week of March was glorious to behold as Dallas proudly displayed its colorful welcoming of spring. However. On Friday afternoon when Todd drove into the driveway, the weather didn't offer him a very pleasant welcome back home. The house, being an older home in a mature neighborhood featured a detached garage with an apartment above it. Todd had obviously ran through the downpour to the back door, however Marky spied no activity that would indicate that he was in the house. She greeted him and told him she would have ordered a better a welcome had she known he was on the way home. He laughed and said that he had been in the half-bath drying his face and hair as he decided to unload or wait for the rain to stop.
