Finally, it was the week of the show; Dress rehearsals on Monday and Tuesday, then opening night on Wednesday night. Because this was a show set in the current time period, most of the costumes were just regular clothes, so no real need to get to the theatre earlier than normal to prepare. The week of a show is normally pretty nerve wracking, we've rehearsed and all the lines are memorized, but doing the show in front of a live audience brings certain electricity to the stage and cast.

Of course, each night of rehearsal I saw Catherine. We'd pass each other backstage, or sitting out in the house, we'd try to be by each other, but nothing could happen. These people, although I love working with most of them, are really gossip mongers. I wouldn't want to hurt Catherine's reputation by having people think poorly of her.
