A couple of months ago, I was looking for work and was approached by a friend of mine who said he might have an opportunity for me. He told me about a friend of his who was looking to hire a few people and was interested in meeting up with me to discuss the possibilities. I was open to it because I really had nothing going on and needed to make a few extra bucks. He gave me the guy's information and told me to give him a call. I called the guy, whose name was James and spoke to him later that afternoon. We discussed a few things over the phone before arranging to meet with each other. He mentioned that he remembered me from his friend's wedding and looked forward to getting together with me to discuss the job opportunity that he had. With that, he told me that he would text me at some point during the next couple of days to let me know when he would be available. I thanked him and after hanging up the phone, I sat tried to figure out exactly who this guy was because I met so many people at our friend's wedding.

Over the next couple of days, James text me here and that, just to say hello and see how I was doing. I found it a little strange because we really didn't know each other but went with it. After a couple of days, he called me up and said that he finally had a position that was available and wanted to get together with me so we could discuss my possibly working for him. I told him that it sounded great and was looking forward to meeting him to discuss things. He thanked me and said that when he saw me at his friend's wedding, he really wanted to approach me and talk to me but felt kind of nervous about it. I laughed ...
