Rachel woke up to the sound of rain hitting the roof and Lilly cuddled up against her. She opened her eyes to see that Lilly was awake but not wanting to get out bed. So they kissed and cuddled for a few moments before the need to visit the restroom forced them from the warm bed. Rachel had just taken her first sip of coffee when Lilly's phone rang. It was her father inviting them up for breakfast. Rachel could see that Lilly wanted to turn him down but she couldn't, not with all that had just happened to her father and so their lazy day of making love had to be put on hold.

The day turned out better than Rachel was fearing as Lilly's father made her feel welcome and he ended up talking more to her than he did his daughter. While it wasn't the day that they had planned it was a good day all the same.
